You receive a clear fixed-price quote, inclusions, exclusions and expected project timeline. Once approved, we lock in the start date and renovation schedule.
Renovation & Handover
BayFix manages the works through demolition, rough-ins, waterproofing, tiling, fit-off and final clean. You receive regular updates until the bathroom is complete and ready to use.

Bathroom renovation FAQs.
Yes, on every job. Dust is contained, water shut-offs are scheduled in advance, and we leave the site clean each day. If you only have one bathroom, we plan the strip-out so you’re without a working toilet for the shortest possible time — usually 5–7 days.
3–5 weeks on site for most projects, plus 2–4 weeks of lead time before that for materials and trade scheduling. Premium jobs with custom joinery or imported tiles can take 6–8 weeks on site. The exact timeline is in your quote.
We don’t run a design studio, but we work with you on layout and selections. The on-site consultation covers the layout decisions, and for tiles and fixtures we’ll point you to suppliers we trust and review your choices before ordering.
Yes — all PC (prime cost) items are included in your fixed quote with an allowance set against each item. If you choose fixtures above the allowance you cover the difference; if below, you keep it. No surprises either way.
Variations happen — usually after demolition reveals something. Every change is documented, priced and approved by you in writing before we proceed. No verbal agreements that turn into bill shock.
Yes. Registered builder with the Victorian Building Authority, public liability insurance, certified waterproofer. Documentation is supplied at quote stage and again at handover.
7 years on waterproofing, statutory builder’s warranty on structural work, and manufacturer’s warranties on fittings. Everything in writing, in your name, and transferable if you sell.
