Bathroom Renovations in Melbourne.
Most of Our Best Work Starts With a Leak.

Water damage, failed waterproofing, or just time for a proper rebuild. We handle the full job. Fixed price, clear timeline, one team from start to finish.

Servicing Hobsons Bay and Surrounding Melbourne Suburbs.

A lot of bathroom renovations start with us finding something behind the tiles.

We come out for a leak repair, open up the wall or floor, and find the waterproofing has failed across the whole room. At that point, a patch is not a solution. The right fix is a proper rebuild and since we are already on site with everything open, it makes sense to do it properly rather than close it back up and revisit it in twelve months.

We also work with homeowners who know their bathroom is overdue for an update and want it done by a team that understands waterproofing from the ground up, not just tilers who have never dealt with a membrane failure.

Either way, you get a written scope, a fixed price before anything starts, and a crew that keeps you updated throughout the job.

40%

of bathroom renovations we complete follow on directly from a leak repair or waterproofing failure found during inspection

3 – 5 Weeks

typical timeframe from first inspection to handover on a full bathroom renovation

1 Team

handles waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, and all finishing — no coordinating multiple tradies on your end

Tired of the runaround?

We hear the same stories from homeowners all the time. And we built BayFix to fix every one of them.

Finding out mid-job how bad it actually is

A quote based on what is visible on the surface often changes once the tiles come off. We do a proper inspection before we quote, so what we find during the job does not come as a surprise to either of us.

A renovation that ignores what is underneath

New tiles over failed waterproofing is a job that will need doing again in a few years. We waterproof every bathroom we renovate properly — not as an add-on, but as the foundation of the whole job.

Five different tradies with five different schedules

Tiler, plumber, electrician, waterproofer, painter — all booking their own slots and no one taking ownership. We coordinate the whole job as one team. One point of contact, one timeline, one invoice.

Quotes that look nothing like the final invoice

Vague scopes leave room for variations. We write out exactly what is included before work starts, and we stick to it. What we quote is what you pay.

Three ways to renovate. One standard of finish.

We will tell you which option fits your situation after the inspection. The right scope depends on what is under the surface, not just what you can see.

New tiles, vanity, toilet, shower screen, and tapware
Plumbing and electrical updates where needed
Compliance certificate on waterproofing works
Written warranty on all work

Questions people usually ask

My bathroom has water damage, do you fix that as part of the renovation?

Yes. We assess the full extent of the damage during the inspection, factor it into the scope, and repair it as part of the job. Water damage to framing, substrate, or surrounding areas gets dealt with before the new waterproofing goes in, not covered over.

How do I know if my bathroom needs a full rebuild or just a retile?

We can usually tell during the inspection. If the waterproofing membrane is still intact and the damage is surface level, a targeted repair and retile is often enough. If the membrane has failed, or there is structural damage, a proper rebuild is the right call. We will walk you through what we find and why before you commit to anything.

Do you handle the full job or do I need to find other tradies?

We handle everything — waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, electrical, painting, and all finishing. You do not need to source or coordinate anyone else. One team, one point of contact, one invoice.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

A leak rectification and retile usually takes one to two weeks. A full rebuild runs three to four weeks. A complete transformation can be four to six weeks depending on the scope. We give you a realistic timeline before we start and we stick to it.

Can I choose my own tiles and fixtures?

Yes. We can work with materials you source yourself, or we can advise on what works well for the scope and waterproofing requirements. If something you have chosen needs a specific installation approach, we will flag it upfront.

What if more damage is found once you open up the walls?

We do our best to scope this during the inspection, but sometimes water damage is only fully visible once the tiles are off. If we find something that changes the scope, we stop, show you what we have found, and get your sign-off on any changes before continuing. You will never come home to a surprise on your invoice.
